Congratulations to the state of Missouri as they have become the
fifth state in our union to opt out of tax-payer funded abortions.

Thanks for praying and fasting with us this Wednesday, July 28.

This is an answer to prayer and fasting. www.LifeSitenews.com reports the following:

Under the new informed consent provisions, women must be advised of the risks of abortion, given information about the physiological characteristics of their unborn child, and be presented with what resources are available to women who choose to bring their child to term.

Abortionists will also be required to provide a brochure proclaiming: “The life of each human being begins at conception. Abortion will terminate the life of a separate, unique, living human being.”

Women must also be given the opportunity to view an ultrasound, learn about the pain an unborn child may feel during a late term abortion, and have access to a telephone if she is at the abortion facility under duress from a third party.

“Because of Governor Nixon’s decision to allow women to be more fully informed, we believe that more expectant mothers will choose life for their babies,” said Pam Fichter, the President of Missouri Right to Life. “Missouri Right to Life has worked hard for several years to pass this legislation and is very pleased to see it become law.”

Let’s pray.

1. Let’s pray for ourselves.

Dear Lord,
We are grateful for the gift of life, and grateful for answered prayer. Draw our hearts to the awe of new born baby, and to the awe of Your presence. Bring us back to the respect, fear and awe of You and Your holy word we pray.

2. Let’s pray for our city and country.

Dear Lord,
We are grateful for the state of Missouri and the four other states who have stood for the respect of Your creation in life. Thanks for the thousands who are faithfully praying for this nation to turn our hearts back to You. We bless Governor Nixon of Missouri for allowing this to become law, and we pray Your continued wisdom and favor upon our local and national leaders. We pray many more states will soon follow Missouri’s lead.

3. Let’s pray for the global advance of the gospel.

Dear Lord,
We are so glad that You are raising up young men and women to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. You said, ‘this gospel shall be preached to all nations, and then the end shall come.’ We pray divine favor and open doors for the gospel to continue to go into unreached and under-reached nations. We pray encouragement to their souls by Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
